Millersburg Wants to Fill Your Hole

Millersburg, PA, has launched a cheekily named but very real new program:

“Fill My Hole.” This initiative aims to tackle potholes and road hazards more efficiently using an online reporting form for residents to notify the borough of problem spots.

With only a limited annual paving budget, officials want to stay ahead of road issues by resolving hazards quickly. Their goal? Fix reported potholes within 48 hours, though delays may occur if submissions spike.

The borough promises to handle every hole "expeditiously and with care."

And if it’s a little too big or tricky? They’ll explain why it may take longer.

And yes—they’re inviting feedback with tongue firmly in cheek:

“Pleased with the way our crew handled your hole? Let us know!”

The campaign is backed by a five-year street improvement plan that includes cost estimates, showing long-term commitment beyond quick patchwork.

It’s clever, it’s bold and it just might be the most memorable pothole program in Pennsylvania. But didn't Dominos did something like this back 2018?
