Wrigleyville Welcomes Brady's New Sports Card Shop

Tom Brady Brings His Hobby to Chicago

Football fans may have spotted seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady walking through Chicago on Thursday. The NFL legend was in town to celebrate the launch of Brady’s Sports Memorabilia and Trading Card Shop, his first location in the Midwest and a new hotspot for collectors and fans alike.

Located on Addison Street in the heart of Wrigleyville, the store features trading cards and memorabilia from iconic Chicago athletes like Michael Jordan and Walter Payton. The shop also includes a wide range of collectibles, from combat sports to Pokémon and more.

During the store’s pre-grand opening, Brady kicked off the event by opening a fresh pack of trading cards. He was joined by the co-founders of Card Vault and several Chicago Cubs players who came out in support.

Brady reflected on his passion, saying, “Forty years of it. Forty years for me,” referring to his lifelong love for collecting.

Excited Wrigleyville residents gathered to share their enthusiasm for the new addition to the neighborhood.

“I think it’s exciting. I’m a sports card collector and have been waiting for something like this in Wrigley, and right across from the stadium,” said neighbor Brett Lanzara. “I think it’s definitely going to be huge for the neighborhood.”

Neighbor Mary Claire Sabalaskey added, “It’ll bring more avid sports fans like us, and we’ll have October baseball and make the neighborhood just as fun.”

“We’re going to be here for a long time,” Brady said. “Thanks for having us.”

As of today, Brady’s Sports Memorabilia and Trading Card Shop is open seven days a week to the public.
