Freebies for Your Pup on National Dog Day

We love our pups every day, but National Dog Day on Aug. 26, 2025, is a perfect excuse to go all out.

Many places are offering freebies to celebrate your furry best friend, like pup cups, doggie sundaes, and fun swag.

Raising Cane’s is giving one free pet swag item per dog at the drive-thru from 9 a.m. to 2 a.m. With no purchase needed!

Year-round spots like Starbucks serve their famous puppuccino, Dairy Queen has pup cups with Milk-Bones, and Bruster’s hands out complimentary doggie sundaes daily.

If you’re in Chicago, check out Cody’s Public House at 6 p.m. for a free dog bandana from Surfside Vodka.

Tito’s & Treat will also be sampling at 6:30 p.m., plus there’s a raffle to join.
