A recent study from the University of Arkansas claims that raccoons are coming closer to being domesticated. The study's primary theory suggests that due to raccoons' continued interactions with humans, they are beginning to physically change.
The traits that they are beginning to pick up resemble traits of domesticated animals like dogs and cats--traits such as shorter snouts, floppier ears, and smaller heads.
