Weezer Marriage Ends After Chaos

Weezer bassist Scott Shriner and bestselling author Jillian Lauren are ending their marriage after twenty years. The news dropped just as Lauren was granted entry into a two year mental health diversion program.

According to officials, the program could lead to two felony charges being dismissed, tied to a chaotic shootout with LAPD in April outside the couple’s Eagle Rock home.

Police say she fired first.

Lauren was wounded in the exchange and later given the option to complete treatment instead of facing prosecution. Once she finishes the program, the case is expected to be cleared.
