Metallica frontman James Hetfield is officially engaged and he did it in a way only he could!
He proposed to Adriana Gillett while they were scuba diving with whale sharks, holding up a sign underwater that read âwill you marry me.â She responded with a thumbs up and the moment quickly went viral.
The proposal happened during a birthday trip and was later shared on social media with a simple message.
She said yes.
Hetfield, who divorced in 2022, has been dating Gillett since 2023. This will be his second marriage.
