Reese McGuire, who was just playing with the Cubs last season, has now signed to the White Sox for the upcoming season. McGuire signed a $1.2 million dollar deal.

Sox manager Will Venable made a statement on the McGuire addition, stating: âWhen you look at Quero kind of moving into that top spot and how to best complement him, with Quero really doing most of his damage at the plate from the right side. To be able to get a left-handed hitting catcher to support him and complement him well, we thought it was really important for us to get off to a good start.â
This deal will certainly shake things up for the Sox. We're excited to see what this upcoming season will look like.
