Taylor Momsen is back in the spotlight, but not in some polished Hollywood comeback kind of way.
Playboy shared a new Instagram Reel spotlighting Momsen’s evolution from young actress to frontwoman of The Pretty Reckless, and it connects directly to a new Playboy feature titled “Taylor Momsen Is Getting Raw.”
The Reel hits on something rock fans already know. Taylor Momsen has lived a few different entertainment lives. She was Cindy Lou Who in How the Grinch Stole Christmas. She was Jenny Humphrey on Gossip Girl.
But for years now, she has made it very clear that music is not the side mission.
Music is the main event.
As the lead singer of The Pretty Reckless, Momsen has built her lane on dark, honest, hard rock. The band’s latest album, Dear God, pushes even deeper into that world. It is heavy, emotional, and built around the type of themes that do not exactly come wrapped in sunshine.
